Brunei is a wealthy sultanate known for its tropical jungles, mosques, and mosquitoes. The rain forests brought forward impressive landscapes, creatures, and architecture. Brunei’s contrast was astounding—the seas, canopies, and skies juxtaposed one another perfectly, creating a pastoral photography heaven. In this photo essay, Visuals Editor David Zhang presents photographs taken on his Week 7 Learning Across Boundaries trip: Genomics in the Jungle.
