Migrant Worker Awareness Week (MWAW): Organised by students from NUS Faculty of Law and Yale-NUS College, MWAW will be held from March 11-19. The event aims to raise awareness about the different issues faced by migrant workers through various activities held at various locations, from NUS to museums to workers dormitories.
Private Parts: This semester, (aside) is putting up a Singaporean play, Private Parts, about three transexual characters trying to find their place in Singapore. There will be one show on Friday, March 24 (8pm), and two shows on Saturday, March 25 (2pm and 8pm). Ticket collection is on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in all dining halls.
ICG results: In a close fight, the College of Alice and Peter Tan is the official champion of the Inter College Games 2017, with Yale-NUS College and Tembusu College tied for second.
NUS Arts Festival: From March 10-25, NUS will be hosting its annual Arts Festival with the theme Brave New Worlds. It features dance, music and theatre productions, film screenings (Japanese animations such as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Paprika) as well as talks. New Yale-NUS President: Yale-NUS college warmly welcomes Tan Tai Yong, current Executive Vice-President (Academic Affairs) as the new president of the college effective July 1.
