Sorting it Out: On Thursday March 30, Yale-NUS screened Sorting it Out, a student-produced documentary about recycling in Singapore. The documentary was followed by a panel discussion between representatives from Zero Waste SG, Forum for the Future, H&M Southeast Asia and the Yale-NUS faculty.

Course List Released: On Monday, March 27, Yale-NUS released the course list for Semester 1 AY2017/2018. One notable highlight was the philosophy course on ā€œDoing Things with Words.ā€ Registry will be in touch with students notifying them about the dates for the first round of registration.

Diversity Week: From March 26 to March 31, there were a host of events held across the Yale-NUS campus, including a movie screening, food outings and various workshops on topics such as managing relationships to building inclusive spaces.

MAXimum Effort: sYNCD announced their end of year dance concert MAX’D OUT. The event is a culmination of months of training and a year of dance practice for Yale-NUS’s various dance groups. Last year’s concert was called Looking Back, Moving Forward. This year the concert will aim to tackle themes that all Yale-NUS students can relate to.

Go-Karting: On April 1, the Saga College Council is organizing a go-kart outing at Jurong. There are limited slots available, and a $20 co-pay of which $10 will be returned upon attendance. Sign up for this at Saga College office.
